Miltonduff Distillery
Miltonduff Distillery, founded by Andrew Peary and Robert Bain in 1824, is a prestigious Speyside malt whisky distillery situated on the historic site of an old malt mill once owned by Pluscarden Abbey. In 1964, the distillery enhanced its production by installing a pair of Lomond stills, which operated until 1981 before being integrated into new pot stills. Today, Miltonduff produces its signature Miltonduff single malt whisky and the distinct Mosstowie malt whisky. As a key contributor to Ballantine’s Scotch blends, Miltonduff Distillery remains a vital player in the Speyside whisky region, renowned for its quality and rich heritage.
