Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Single malt Scotch whisky is produced at a single Scottish distillery using only malted barley, yeast, and water, then aged in oak casks within Scotland’s borders. The choice of European or American oak significantly influences the flavour profile, imparting distinct characteristics to the final spirit. Each Scottish whisky region is perceived to have its own style, character, and culture: Islay is renowned for bold, smoky whiskies, the Highlands & Islands for full-bodied, waxy malts, Speyside for light, fruity expressions, and Campbeltown for its silky, lightly smoky character.
