TWB Tastig Notes:
Nose: Opulent and layered, the aroma unfolds with rich notes of black cherries, fig preserves, and date syrup intertwined with chocolate-covered raisins and toasted almonds. As it settles, soft hints of polished leather, antique mahogany furniture, and dried orange peel emerge, underscored by a subtle trace of cigar box and espresso roast.
Palate: A velvety, mouth-filling texture leads with luscious flavors of treacle toffee, molasses cake, and spiced fruit loaf. Dense layers of prune compote, dark chocolate ganache, and roasted hazelnuts bring depth, while delicate wisps of cinnamon, clove, and nutmeg add structure. A faint thread of espresso bean bitterness and citrus zest provides balance, preventing the sweetness from becoming cloying.
Finish: Long, warming, and elegantly drying. The fruity richness slowly recedes, revealing lingering notes of cocoa nibs, sugared walnuts, and a gentle oak spice. A whisper of well-aged leather and a faint echo of dark-roast coffee persist, ensuring the memory of each sip resonates long after the glass is set down.
