Bruichlddich Distillery
Bruichladdich Distillery, founded in 1881 by the Glasgow-based Harvey family, is perched on the Rhinns Peninsula of Islay, near the sandy shores of Loch Indaal. After reopening in 2001 with much of its original Victorian equipmentmeticulously restored, the distillery released the acclaimed PC5, the first bottling in its limited Port Charlotte range. Renowned for its diverse portfolio, Bruichladdich produces the highly peated Octomore, Organic expressions using locally grown Islay barley, and experimental triple and quadruple distilled single malts. An active participant in Feis Ile, Islay’s annual Whisky Festival, Bruichladdich stands out for its pioneering spirit and unwavering dedication to craftsmanship, firmly establishing its place among Scotland’s most iconic whisky producers.
