The nose of this classy old rum is remarkably balanced showing sandalwood and light tobacco, with beeswax and overripe tropical fruit. The immensely complex palate offers a potent mix of blood orange, herbs, cocoa, walnut with an unexpected coastal edge. A long finish following the character of the palate leaves one pining for yet another excellent distillery lost.
