TWB Tasting Notes:
Nose: A captivating bouquet of rich dried fruits, including figs and raisins, enveloped in a warm, honeyed sweetness. Subtle layers of creamy vanilla and caramel emerge, mingling with toasted oak and a gentle waft of sea breeze. Delicate spices such as cinnamon and nutmeg, with a faint trace of peat smoke, add depth and complexity.
Palate: A harmonious explosion of flavors greets the palate with a silky smooth texture. Sweet honey and creamy vanilla dominate, followed by the warmth of toasted oak. As the whisky opens up, notes of dried apricots, citrus zest, and juicy sultanas come forward, balanced by a subtle spiciness of cloves and ginger. A touch of maritime influence adds a unique brininess, enhancing the whisky's complexity and providing a well-rounded experience.
Finish: Exceptionally long and luxurious, the finish lingers on the palate, leaving a lasting impression. The sweetness of honey and vanilla slowly fades, giving way to a delightful warmth with hints of spice, oak, and a touch of saltiness. A gentle echo of peat smoke and sea breeze remains, rounding off the tasting experience with elegance and sophistication.
