Nose: Enticing aromas of rich dried fruits such as raisins, prunes, and dates, combined with hints of dark chocolate, roasted nuts, and a touch of espresso. There are also subtle notes of orange zest and sweet spices like cinnamon and nutmeg.
Palate: Robust and well-balanced, delivering a burst of sherried sweetness with flavors of dark cherries, figs, and black currants. The sherry influence is pronounced, complemented by layers of toffee, caramel, and a hint of treacle. Spicy undertones of clove and black pepper add complexity, with a creamy, mouth-coating texture.
Finish: Long and warming, with a lingering sweetness and spice. The finish showcases notes of cocoa, dried fruits, and a gentle oakiness, leaving a satisfying, smooth aftertaste.
