Glen Mhor 30 Year Old 1982 vintage Highland single malt Scotch whisky. Single cask hogshead #1606 expression of the lost Scottish distillery. Bottled December 2012 by Signatory Vintage for the Cask Strength range.
John Birnie and James Mackinlay commissioned Charles C. Doig to design Glen Mhor Distillery which was found in 1892 and constructed at Muirton Basin in Inverness. Glen Mhor Distillery was a Scottish Highland malt whisky distillery equipped with two stills and one of the pioneering distilleries to release single malt whisky back in the 1960s. Closed in 1983, dismantled in 1986, demolished 1988 and now one of Scotland’s lost malt whisky distilleries.
