Single cask hogshead #50. Bottled March 2010. 263 numbered bottles.
Glen Albyn Distillery was established in 1844 on the east bank of the Caledonian Canal in Inverness. Whilst the canal opened in 1822 in order to facilitate a short cut for our navy during the Napoleonic wars, it provided ready access for shipping raw materials in and whisky casks out when the distillery opened. Glen Albyn Distillery closed in 1983 and was demolished in 1986 although some fragments of its old walls can still be found. Glen Albyn Distillery is a lost Scottish Highland malt whisky distillery.
