TWB Tasting Notes:
Nose: An inviting bouquet of ripe red fruits—strawberries, cherries, and raspberries—immediately greets the senses, a testament to its four-year maturation in a Ruby Port hogshead since 2020. Hints of honeyed malt, vanilla, and delicate floral notes intertwine, with a subtle touch of cinnamon spice adding depth.
Palate: Rich and velvety on the palate, this whisky delivers a harmonious blend of sweet and fruity flavors. Juicy blackcurrants and plums mingle with dark chocolate and toffee undertones. The malty backbone of Dailuaine shines through, complemented by gentle spice notes of nutmeg and a whisper of oak.
Finish: Long and satisfying, the finish leaves a lingering warmth with echoes of sweet port wine and dried fruits. A soft dryness emerges, accented by hints of cocoa, toasted almonds, and a delicate spice that fades gracefully.
