Nose: Maritime. Smoked haddock in warm butter, really kippery. Savoury peat-smoke initially, but then slightly sweet / burnt rubber notes emerge.
Taste: Intense. Soft, sweet peat - slightly medicinal, but with some really nice fruity notes - fresh blueberries and apricots. Cracked black pepper at the close. A super-approachable, unadulterated peated Islay malt.
