TWB Tasting Notes:
On the nose, this exquisite whisky presents a harmonious blend of gentle peat smoke intertwined with notes of citrus zest, honey, and a hint of sea salt. Subtle aromas of vanilla, tropical fruits, and a touch of floral heather add layers of complexity and intrigue.
The palate is smooth and well-balanced, offering flavors of sweet vanilla, toasted oak, and ripe orchard fruits like apple and pear. The signature Bowmore peat smoke is present but refined, complemented by notes of lemon, coconut, and a hint of dark chocolate. The mouthfeel is rich and creamy, reflecting the influence of the bourbon barrel maturation over 24 years.
The finish is long and warming, leaving lingering impressions of soft peat smoke, gentle spice, and a delicate sweetness. Hints of maritime salinity and oak tannins add depth to the enduring conclusion, making each sip a memorable experience.
