Speyside Distillery

The original Speyside Distillery, located in Kingussie, operated from 1895 to 1905 before being demolished in 1911. The current Speyside Distillery, nestled near Drumguish and the River Tormie, began construction in 1962 and was completed in 1987, with its stills coming to life just before Christmas in 1990. This small but picturesque malt whisky distillery in Scotland's Speyside whisky region features just two stills, emphasizing quality over quantity. Renowned for its handcrafted approach, Speyside Distillery produces distinctive single malts, reflecting the character of the region’s rich whisky-making heritage.
