Millburn Distillery
Millburn Distillery, established around 1807 as Inverness Distillery and operational as Millburn by 1825, was a historic Highland malt whisky distillery in Scotland. In the early 1850s, it converted to corn and flour mills before rebuilding in 1876 and resuming whisky production by 1881. Equipped with just two stills, Millburn produced a modest output until its closure in 1985. Demolished in 1988, the site is now part of a hotel, retaining the iconic round brick chimney. As one of Scotland’s lost Highland distilleries, Millburn’s rare whisky stocks are highly prized by collectors.
