Knockando Distillery, designed by renowned architect Charles C. Doig and founded by John Thompson in 1898, is a historic Speyside malt whisky distillery located near the picturesque River Spey. Equipped with four traditional stills and proudly retaining its iconic pagoda roof, Knockando produces high-quality whisky primarily for prestigious blended Scotch brands. Additionally, select batches are matured on-site and released as single malt expressions, including the popular Knockando 12 Year Old. Celebrated for its craftsmanship and rich heritage, Knockando Distillery remains a key player in Scotland’s esteemed Speyside whisky region.
