Fettercairn Distillery
Fettercairn Distillery, founded by Alexander Ramsay in 1824, nestles on the outskirts of Fettercairn village at the foot of the Grampian Mountains in Scotland’s Highland whisky region. Originally established on the site of a corn mill, this malt whisky distillery operates with four stills and features a unique cooling system in which cold water cascades down the exteriors of its two spirit stills—imparting a light, floral character to Fettercairn single malt. While official bottlings represent the distinct charm of Fettercairn, enthusiasts can also find its expressions among several independent bottlers, notably Gordon & MacPhail Connoisseurs Choice and Signatory Vintage, further showcasing the versatile flavor profile of this Highland gem.
