Dalwhinnie Distillery
Dalwhinnie Distillery, founded in 1897 at an elevation of over 320 meters above sea level in Scotland’s Highland whisky region, proudly stands as the second highest working distillery in the country. Despite its modest scale—operating with a single pair of stills and two round wooden worm tubs—Dalwhinnie produces notably refined single malts, including the beloved Dalwhinnie 15 Year Old and the Distillers Edition. Visitors can immerse themselves in this storied heritage by touring the Dalwhinnie Distillery Visitor Centre, where they can explore the whisky-making process and discover the rich flavor profiles that exemplify Highland whisky tradition.
