Campbeltown Whisky
Campbeltown is a historic whisky-producing town located on the west coast of Scotland, nestled along the southeast coast of the Kintyre Peninsula. Once home to 34 distilleries, this flourishing region now supports only three active single malt distilleries: Springbank—which also produces Longrow and Hazelburn, Glengyle (renowned for its Kilkerran label), and Glen Scotia. With whisky-making dating back to the 1800s, Campbeltown is celebrated for producing diverse styles, including heavily peated expressions. Despite the decline in numbers, these remaining distilleries maintain Campbeltown’s long-standing Scotch whisky heritage, captivating connoisseurs worldwide.
