Annandale Distillery

Annandale Distillery, originally founded in 1836, was a prominent producer of single malt Scotch whisky until its closure in 1921, when the site was decommissioned. In 2007, the Annandale Distillery Company purchased and meticulously restored this historic location, bringing whisky production back to the region. By 2014, the stills were flowing once again, and in 2018, the distillery released its first new single malt—marking a triumphant return for Annandale. Today, visitors can experience the rich heritage and modern craftsmanship that make Annandale’s whiskies a standout in Scotland’s renowned Lowland whisky tradition.
