Aberlour Distillery
Founded in 1826, Aberlour Distillery is nestled in Scotland’s Speyside whisky region, at the northern edge of Ben Rinnes. This elevated location ensures a plentiful supply of soft, peaty spring water, crucial to Aberlour’s distinct character. With four copper stills in operation, around half of the spirit goes into crafting Aberlour’s single malt whiskies—notably the popular Aberlour A’bunadh, a batch-release single malt aged exclusively in ex-sherry casks. Offering distillery tours and playing a key role in the Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival, Aberlour continues to captivate whisky enthusiasts worldwide with its rich heritage, superb quality, and unmistakable Speyside flavor.
