The Pearls of Scotland Whisky - No More

Some sad news reached us at TWB recently with word that Gordon & Company Distillers, purveyors of The Pearls of Scotland whisky label is no more. Perhaps not one of most familiar of the independent bottling companies but here are TheWhiskyBarrel.com we've had stocks in the door from The Pearls of Scotland for several years, on and off. With their mantra taken from the definition of a pearl being something that is highly regarded for its beauty and rarity, they believed that 'The Pearls of Scotland' range of cask strength whiskies truly reflects the beauty and rarity of a Pearl. And given some of their bottlings, they were spot on.

The Pearls of Scotland whiskies were single cask, natural colour, non-chill filtered, with the label giving all the necessary details of the cask. All the boxes ticked for an independent Scotch whisky bottler. And they have released some cracking whiskies over the years. Littlemill, Invergordon, Ben Nevis, Glen Scotia, Clynelish, Auchentoshan, Macallan, Glenrothes, Highland Park, Cambus, Caol Ila, Bunnanhabhain to name but a few that have been bottled under The Pearls of Scotland name. So to lose this name from the independent bottlers catalogue is a sad one indeed.

Here at TheWhiskyBarrel.com we had a few remaining bottles available and we are pleased that as a final folly into The Pearls of Scotland Scotch whisky, we have managed to secure their very last stocks. So enjoy these while they last, as from now The Pearls of Scotland is lost Scotch.
