We have been busy over the summer! While you have been sunning yourself (well maybe not here in Scotland) during the summer months, work has been in progress at The Whisky Barrel. It has been five years since we last upgraded our website but you may have noticed a change to our site over the past week. Today marks the official launch of our brand new website; The Whisky Barrel – the specialist online whisky shop.
A complete overhaul of our whisky shop website has introduced many new features. Overall, you will see an improved shopping experience to find and buy your whisky online, especially on mobile devices. And our logo has had a re-design too; simplicity is key, we are The Whisky Barrel. Throughout the site we have a range of new features, search options and categories for our lovely range of single malt scotch, single grain scotch, blended scotch and world whisky. A particular area we have developed is our focus on some of Scotland’s finest independent bottling companies whom we have worked with for many years. They produce a fantastic range of whisky, often rare and limited scotch and often from a single cask. This includes Hunter Laing & Co, Gordon & MacPhail, Signatory Vintage, Cadenheads and more. We offer an unrivalled selection of whisky from these superb, carefully selected independent bottling companies. Therefore, we offer some of the finest scotch whisky online alongside official bottling whisky. Just in time to celebrate our new site we also have a selection of new whisky available to buy online now. But the outstanding new product is special indeed. We have managed to get our lucky hands on the full batch 13 release of BenRiach single casks! Oh yes! All 12 (TWELVE) expressions are now available here at The Whisky Barrel.
Vintages include a 1975 40 year old through to a 1999 15 year old, this is a special collection. These are sought after and difficult to come by and showcase an amazing array of Speyside Scotch quality from the BenRiach Distillery.
